Buzzing swarms of cheerless, blackened, fuzzed-out atmospheric ambience. Funeral doom if it was reinterpreted by Stars of the Lid. This is a morose masterpiece swarming with thick blankets of melancholy beauty and majestic seance-like guitar squalls. I also like the other reviews that made art gallery associations, which, by dint of suggestion, resonated with my own listening experience. Highly recommended!

Guitars sound like flaming lava, riffs melting into one another while moving slowly across everything and destroying everything - the plaintive and bruised cries for help over it all add a weight that sinks you beneath the earth. The sound is as clear as the soul is dark.

La désintégration à la source. Without Veil, Nor Self est digne d'une sortie sur le label Mystikaos et pour cause : cet album d'Entheogen (qui rassemble entre autres des membres de Chaos Moon et Skáphe, rien que ça) fait passer un pur moment de cauchemar psychédélique. Une fois que l'album est lancé, aucune pause jusqu'à la fin. Chaque piste est très dense et hallucinatoire, servant à mettre sur les devants de la scène une énergie occulte dévouée à des créatures démoniaques — une apocalypse.
